PedalStart leads a fundraising round for healthcare company Preventify, raising Rs 2 crore

Healthcare startup Preventify has raised Rs 2 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by PedalStart, with participation from several angel investors, including Narayana Health Executive Vice Chairman Viren Shetty and Dezy Chief Operating Officer Jatin Kakrani. The funding marks the company’s first external capital raise as it looks to scale its preventive and chronic care model across Kerala.

The fresh capital will be used to build Preventify’s first cluster of 10 clinics, expand its programmes focused on managing chronic and lifestyle diseases, and strengthen its technology infrastructure. The company also plans to enhance its diagnostics capabilities and pharmacy integration to offer a more seamless and comprehensive care experience for patients.

Founded in Kerala, Preventify operates at the intersection of clinical protocols, technology, diagnostics and long-term patient engagement. The startup focuses on delivering affordable, standardised and evidence-based preventive and chronic healthcare services, particularly targeting underserved populations in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, where access to quality care often remains limited.

Currently, the company operates three clinics and provides structured care programmes aimed at early detection, continuous monitoring and long-term management of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and other lifestyle-related diseases.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Preventify plans to significantly expand its clinic footprint across Kerala. As part of its growth strategy, the startup will invest in hiring experienced clinicians, nurses, care coordinators and central medical teams to strengthen patient outcomes and ensure consistent service delivery across locations.
