PhysicsWallah Records ₹205 Crore in 20 Days from New Online Batches, Shows Strong Growth

Indian edtech company PhysicsWallah has achieved a major milestone by recording ₹205 crore in collections within the first 20 days of launching its new online batches for the 2026 academic cycle. This remarkable performance came during its flagship academic event, Vishwas Diwas, which concluded on March 20, 2026, and reflects a strong surge in demand for affordable digital education across the country.

The company reported a 36% year-on-year growth in collections, indicating rapid expansion and improved conversion rates compared to previous years. This growth is being driven by increasing student trust, wider course offerings, and improved technology integration in its learning platforms.

During the 20-day period, the platform witnessed massive participation, with over 34 lakh students engaging through online sessions and social media platforms. This level of engagement highlights the growing popularity of digital learning, especially among students from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

In terms of enrolments, the company secured approximately 4.39 lakh new students, marking a 21% increase compared to the previous year. Notably, these enrolments came from more than 1,500 new pin codes across India, showcasing the platform’s deep penetration into smaller towns and rural regions.

The growth was also supported by strong performance across different course categories. State board courses recorded exceptional demand with around 178% growth, while vernacular language batches saw a 100% increase, indicating a shift toward regional language learning among students.

Company leadership has expressed confidence in the future outlook, stating that early enrolment momentum and improved unit economics position the platform strongly for the upcoming academic year. The focus remains on scaling content, expanding reach, and integrating AI-driven tools to enhance student experience.

This achievement highlights a broader trend in India’s education sector, where edtech platforms are witnessing sustained growth due to increasing internet penetration, affordable pricing models, and demand for quality education beyond metro cities. PhysicsWallah’s performance in this short span signals not just business success, but also a significant shift in how students across India are accessing education.
