India's Biggest School Quiz? TCS InQuizitive 2026 Registration Begins
Tata Consultancy Services has announced the 2026 edition of TCS InQuizitive, its flagship inter-school quiz competition. Now in its 28th year, the competition has evolved into one of India's most sought-after platforms for young learners to test their knowledge across technology, business, science, sports, and current affairs .
AI Takes Centre Stage
The 2026 edition places a sharper focus on Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, reflecting the growing role of AI in education and careers . This year's quiz will highlight domains including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, biometrics, and robotics, alongside traditional subjects like education, entertainment, sports, business trends, advertising, and social media .
Sudeep Kunnumal, Chief Human Resources Officer at TCS, said: "India's emergence as the world's third most competitive nation in Artificial Intelligence, as highlighted by Stanford University's 2025 Global AI Vibrancy Tool, marks a pivotal moment in its digital journey. Through initiatives such as TCS InQuizitive, we seek to ignite curiosity, nurture talent, and empower the next generation to harness the transformative potential of AI" .
Competition Format and Eligibility
Who Can Participate?
Students from Grades 8 to 12, including those in pre-university and junior college
Teams of two members from the same school
Multiple entries from a school are allowed
Cities Hosting the Quiz
The competition will be held across 12 cities: Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai .
Road to the National Finale
Top-performing teams from each city will qualify for the semi-finals. The best teams will then compete in the national finale in Mumbai .
The competition builds on TCS's two-decade quizzing legacy, which began with TCS IT Wiz in 1999 .

Key Rules
No entry fee for participation
Teams must consist of bona fide, full-time students from the same school
Home schooling, private schooling, and distance education students are not eligible
Organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event format or rules at any time
