Anthropic and OpenAI are both launching joint ventures for enterprise AI service

Artificial intelligence leaders Anthropic and OpenAI are taking a major step toward dominating the enterprise AI market by launching new joint ventures (JVs) aimed at helping businesses adopt and deploy AI at scale.

Anthropic is reportedly forming a joint venture valued at around $1.5 billion, partnering with major Wall Street firms to deliver AI solutions directly to companies. The initiative is designed to integrate AI into portfolio companies owned by private equity firms, allowing them to improve efficiency, automate operations, and gain competitive advantages. Instead of simply offering AI models, Anthropic will actively work with businesses to implement customized AI systems tailored to their needs.

At the same time, OpenAI is pursuing a similar strategy through its own enterprise-focused venture, often referred to as a “deployment company.” This initiative is expected to attract billions in investment and aims to help organizations integrate advanced AI tools into real-world operations.
